Malouf Pharmacies is a down to earth, family oriented Queensland business. We provide exceptional service and professional advice by genuinely connecting with our customers so that they feel valued and confident with their decisions.
Having been in the health industry for over 40 years we believe that customers and staff are the very essence of our success. We are a little different from our competitors in the way that we do business. Whilst we have a strong customer focused culture we also realise that without the ‘very best staff’ we cannot achieve our vision.
This means we do our very best to ensure the systems and procedures in our workplace meet the needs of both our staff and customers.
Malouf Pharmacies offer our staff the opportunity to undertake training in sales, marketing, business management, staff development, industrial relations and personal development. All staff are kept up to date with ongoing product training, to ensure we deliver the best advice and customer service at all times.
We are continually expanding our services and store locations and are always in need of innovative and dynamic individuals to join our team.
Employment opportunities include Pharmacists, Pre-Registration Pharmacists, Pharmacy Assistants, Retail Managers, Cosmetic and Fragrance Consultants, Vitamin Consultants, Naturopaths, Buying, Marketing, Warehousing, Administration and IT.
Please contact our Human Resources department if you would like to discuss future employment opportunities.
We are extremely proud of our intern training, with many of our current Pharmacists participating in the program.
Opportunities are offered every year in our Brisbane pharmacies including Aspley, Cleveland, Forest Lake, Kenmore and New Farm as well as regional locations such as Bundaberg, Gympie, Toowoomba and Rockhampton. Traditionally Intern Pharmacists commence their training in January each year however we are working towards accommodating Griffith University students who graduate mid-year into the program. Whilst the majority of intern training is conducted in store with your Preceptor, we also run a minimum of 4 development days each year at our administration office in Teneriffe.
Development days incorporate professional development, product training, customer service skills, business skills and staff motivation tactics with training delivered by Malouf Pharmacies Partners, Category Managers, The Human Resources Team or Company Representatives.
The goal of the Intern Program is to provide you with quality training within a supportive learning environment in the hope that there may be a position available for you once you complete your training. In addition to learning everything you need to know in the dispensary your Preceptors will also have you involved in all areas of the business including buying, rostering, merchandising
Unfortunately due to the very low turnover of staff at Malouf Pharmacies there may not always be positions available for all our Intern students at the completion of the program. However our goal remains the same, to provide you with the necessary skills to start a successful career in pharmacy.
